Spokane Tribal Membership,
The Spokane Tribal Business Council (“Tribal Council”) is aware of recent concerns related to enrollment with the Spokane Tribe and may place some of these questions on the June 2021 general election ballot.
We will discuss this matter, and other issues, at the Spring 2021 General Council meeting. Additionally, we will hold informational meetings prior to the 2021 General Election. The Enrollment Committee and Tribal Council plans to have the first meeting via a virtual meeting on March 17, 2021 at 6:00 pm and will advertise details as soon as possible.
Information related to one of these enrollment matters, including a memorandum which details the historical record (the “Memorandum”,) is currently available on the Tribal Membership Portal. This is a sensitive, internal issue for the Spokane Tribe and we ask that you do not share the Memorandum with individuals who are not members of the Tribe.
How to access the Tribal Membership Portal and Member-Only Information:
Enrolled Spokane Tribal Members can request access to the Tribal Membership Portal by navigating to the web page https://spokanetribe.com/login/ or by clicking on “Tribal Member Login” on the upper righthand corner of the Tribe’s website (https://spokanetribe.com/).
Please use your personal e-mail address rather than your work e-mail address.
After your request is submitted the Tribal Enrollment Officer will verity your enrollment status. Once verified, you will receive two emails. The first email will confirm that you have been added as a user. The second email will contain your username and ask you to create your password. Once your password is set you can log in to the portal and view news and information intended only for the Spokane Tribal Membership.
Memorandum is already available through the Tribal Membership Portal under the “Tribal Member News” tab. Hard copies will be sent to Tribal Members aged 18+ as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Tribal Council. If you would like copies of any of the materials discussed in the memo, please email Bre Brigman at email@example.com.
