2022 GENERAL ELECTION CALENDAR
REMINDER – Important deadline reminders!
ALL PETITIONS FOR CANDIDACY MUST BE FILED WITH THE ELECTION COMMITTEE BY APRIL 1, 2022 AT 4:00 P.M.
The Election Committee shall post the list of Candidates by April 1, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
Objections to a Petition for Candidacy must be filed with the Election Committee by April 8, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
The Election Committee shall respond to any objections to a Petition for Candidacy within two working days of receipt.
The Election Committee shall determine the eligibility of Candidates and post the list of Certified Candidates by April 15, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
ALL REFERENDA OR PETITIONS FOR AN INITIATIVE MUST BE FILED WITH THE ELECTION COMMITTEE BY APRIL 20, 2022 AT 4:00 P.M.
ALL TRIBAL VOTERS MUST FILE AN ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST FORM WITH THE ELECTION COMMITTEE BY MAY 5, 2022 AT 4:00 P.M.
Voters who do not submit a request form by this deadline may vote in-person on election day. The Election Committee shall mail all Absentee Ballots no later than May 6, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Tribal Voters may file a Replacement Absentee Ballot Request Form by May 11, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
ALL ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY ELECTION DAY.
Mailed Absentee Ballots must be in the Election Committee’s P.O. Box by 12:01 PM on election day. Absentee Ballots may be physically delivered to a polling location while the polls are open.

Runoff Election (if needed) June 18, 2022
Polling Locations: (1) Alfred McCoy Administration Building, Wellpinit, WA; (2) West End Community Center, West End, WA; (3) TANF building, 232 E. Lyons Avenue, Spokane, WA; (4) Ford Community Center, New House Lane, Ford, WA. Polls shall be open on Election Day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
